Conversions, an important metric of your PPC account, helps ascertain how many clicks resulted in an action (transaction, registration, inquiry form etc.) defined by you. We previously wrote an article about conversion in AdWords. Similar to AdWords, in Bing too you can define whether you wish to count each conversion action or unique ones.

Unique Conversion in Bing

How you count conversion helps determine whether you are interested in knowing about sales generated or leads generated. Here are the counting options available and what it would mean for your business:

  • All – If you select this option then the conversion action if repeated multiple times, will be counted that number of times
  • Unique – On selecting this option, the conversion action defined by you is counted once

The conversion count is dependent also on the conversion window specified by you. So, for instance if you have selected a 30-day conversion window then the ‘unique’ or ‘all’ count options will be made within that time period.

In this post we will help you with the step-by-step process of counting ‘unique’ conversions or leads

Step 1: Go to campaign

Step 2: Click on conversion tracking and then on conversion goals
